Audi introduced the A7 Sportback in the Indian market in May. The A7 Sportback or the Typ 4G as it is internally known at Audi was first shown to the media at the 2010 Paris Motor Show after it was shown at the 2009 Detroit Motor Show as a Concept vehicle. Audi describes the A7 Sportback as a blend of a sedan, sports coupe and a station wagon all in one. We drive the latest Audi for India, read on to experience theA7 Sportback.

Exterior Design

The A7 Sportback at first glance appears huge in length and width and has a low stance. Measuring 4.97 meters in length and 1.91 meters in width and has a low stance height of just 1.42meters. The familiar Audi face with the French beard air-dam grill with horizontal glossy black and chrome slats along with a large Audi ring logo makes the face of the A7 Sportback very inviting. The front bumper goes low and houses the Audi Jewel headlamps that add a rich character to the front of the A7 Sportback. These are Adaptive Xenon Plus headlamps that are all weather lights and hence the A7 Sportback does not have fog lamps. The now so famous Headlamp LED strip that comprises of 18 LEDs look ravishing even in the daytime when the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) are on. The turn lights are also in orange strip LEDs. These headlamps use latest technology and have internal fans as well as heat sinks so that they don’t heat up and fog.

The A7 Sportback has a large bonnet with slim fenders that make the sides very sporty. The A7 Sportback runs on 255/45 R18 that are mounted on seven spoke lightweight alloys. The side profile is very sporty and the coupe like roof line flows like an arch right till the tailgate. A thick waistline that starts from the headlamps goes across the fenders and through the doors that ends on the tail lamp, defines the side sporty profile for the A7 Sportback. The wing mirrors with integrated LED turn lights are mounted on the door as in all sportscars. The door glass have frame-less window glass adding to the sporty character. The glass area is sleekly shaped with the quarter glass that converges on the pillar. The A7 Sportback comes with standard Sun/Moon roof. The doors are large and have soft close mechanism on them that auto-close on their own when they are pushed in. The A7 Sportback has a large wheelbase that is most evident when you see it from the sides. The rear windshield is at a sharp angle merging with the coupe roofline. The A7 Sportback as the name suggests has a sporty back, a flat pushed in boot which reminds of many sports cars. The tailgate opens like a station wagon along with the rear windshield that makes loading and unloading stuff a breeze. The rear of the A7 Sportback has long overhangs with the flushed in 3d looking LED tail lamps that point inwards. The A7 Sportback has an integrated LED strip stop lamp that runs across the entire rear glass. A smart looking rear bumper with integrated twin chrome exhaust on either side makes things very interesting at the back. The highlight of the A7 Sportbacks rear is the integrated lip spoiler that normally is in-line with the boot and deploys automatically once the vehicle touches 130Kmph and retracts in once the vehicle comes down to 80Kmph. You also have the S-Line exterior package with its badgeing on the side fenders.

The A7 Sportback is built at Audi's Neckarsulm plant in Germany, the A7 Sportback has a very exotic exterior that’s sporty stylish and practical. Quality of paintjob and fit finish is brilliant. Needless to say the Audi A7 Sportback is a complete head turner and a total crowd puller.

Interiors – Cabin.

Step in the Audi A7 Sportback and you realize instantly its large cabin area and wrap round fascia. The footboard has the S-Line badging on it. The dash is made of special soft material in which you can sink in your fingers, we have always liked this material on the dash as it gives a rich touch and also helps in damping out the noise into the cabin. There are glossy wood inserts that run across the dash and the door panels along with aluminum lining garnishing. The instrument cluster is large and clear to see and has a centre display between the speedo and RPM dials that is in LCD display and flashes all the needed tell tale ranging from the overall mileage, temperature, time, DTE, average speed etc. The left corner has the temperature gauge with white LED markings and the left corner has the fuel gauge with white LED markings. The needles on the dials are in red and start from the six o clock position when in zero position. The A7 Sportback has a leather wrapped 4 spoke steering that is electrically adjustable for height and reach. The A7 Sportback steering also has paddle shifters as standard fitment. The steering has all the controls mounted on it to control audio-video or to toggle between the various displays functions on the dash. The attraction for the centre dash is the large 7inche Multi Media Interface (MMI) color display that pops out from inside the dashboard electrically when the A7 Sportback is turned on. A button provided on the right side of the MMI display that when pressed puts back the MMI display inside the dash whenever you wish to.

The MMI screen displays all the information that’s bundled into the MMI control unit of the A7 Sportback and is controlled by a main control dial and access buttons on the centre console, this is the latest generation of MMI that Audi is using currently and is very similar to the one we had seen on the new Audi A8 that we drove sometime back. The menu is easy to use and runs through the various individual settings for the car that includes suspension setup, steering setup belt tensioner or the engine and gearbox. You can select between Comfort, Dynamic, Auto from the presets or select Individual to setup your own tune from the Audi drive select menu. The centre console as mentioned has the main command dial for the MMI unit along with individual buttons for Radio,Telephone, Media and navigation. Besides the main dial is the touch keypad for direct selection of radio stations and also doubles up as a touch pad when using the Bluetooth phone function. The engine start button is also placed on center console along with the electrical hand brake and auto hand brake buttons. The auto shifter on the A7 Sportsback is leather wrapped and has a nice feel when gripped.

The A7 Sportback has a 4 zone auto climate control that includes two zones for the rear passengers. The AC vents are on the dash and on the door pillars for the rear passengers. The A7 Sportback we drove came with Bose surround sound system with integrated TV,MP3-CD-Radio and DVD. Sound quality is the best that we have seen so far and we are saying this after hearing to some old songs that were loaded on the 60GB internal hard drive that felt as we were listening to some live performance. Need we say that this BOSE unit is a 600 watts and has a twelve channel amplifier that powers 14 BOSE speakers and has 5.1 channel audio output levels. The Audio system is controlled from the MMI unit and browsing the 60GB HDD is real easy. You can also connect your Ipod or USB drive via the Audi MMI cable that connects in to the MMI port inside the centre armrest. There are two slots provided for SD cards. A head up display unit is also available on the A7 Sportback that projects the Speedo and cruise control floating display on the driver side windshield glass. TheA7 Sportback also has night vision assistant that detects pedestrians using thermal imaging camera that’s placed on the grill.

The benefit from the head up display is that the driver does not need to move his eye to the Speedo to check the speed. A DVD changer is neatly tucked up inside the glove box. The front seats are electrically adjustable for height, reach, incline/decline and lumber support. The upholstery is in high quality leather; the front seats are large in size and offer good support to the driver and front passenger. The headrests are manually adjustable for height and reach. The rear seats are shaped for seating two adults and though the roofline is steeping at the rear there is more than good head room at the back. The rear seats offer a good blend of comfort and support, a foldable centre arm rest is provided at the rear seat. The rear two zone climate controls are on the back of the centre console.

The A7 Sportback has a very large tail and that make its boots XXL sized. The tail gate can be electrical open and shut making it very convenient. A stainless steel strip is placed on the loading area of the boot to protect it while loading and unloading stuff. With 535 liters of boot space that doubles up to 1390liters with the rear 40:60 split seats folded down making this a car with gigantic luggage area.

Engine – Suspension – Drive

The Audi A7 Sportback is powered by a 3.0liter V6 TDi engine. This longitudinally mounted 2967cc Six cylinder diesel engine makes 245hp between 4000 to 4500 RPM and hits out 500Nm of torque between 1400 to 3250 RPM. This is super light weight engine that weighs just 194 Kgs. This powerful engine is mated to a 7 speed S Tronic gearbox and fine tuned to the Audi Quattro drive system. Latest high pressure injection system and a new camshaft profile along with a new turbo used on the A7 Sportback engine. The Quattro system intelligently distributes 60% of the power to the rear wheels.

Driving an Audi is always fun and exciting and the A7 Sportback is full of it. Power the engine and it is difficult to say that this is a V6 diesel, the engine is super refined and very smooth. On the move the A7 Sportback surges ahead in a very linear fashion with the power available across all RPM. The steering is light at low speeds but stiffens as the speed builds up. The steering feedback is good and lively and the A7 Sportback being a large car feels very agile and easy to drive in city traffic. On the highways the A7 Sportback unleashes its true character and can be driven very fast but you feel secure inside the cabin even while running the car on a very high speed. The Quattro system along with the double wishbone and multi link adaptive suspension system with Audi's Air-Suspension work flawlessly in giving a very refined drive feel. There is no body roll at any speeds and you can put the A7 Sportback in hard corners as you would put a sedan. The A7 Sportback handles real well, Audi has used some super light body panels made of strong aluminum on the A7 and that has helped keep the overall weight of this big vehicle down to 1770Kgs. The 7 speed S Tronic double clutch gearbox shifts through the gears and the shifts are unnoticed; if this doesn’t excite you then you have the paddle shifters to pick your gearshifts. The 100kmph mark comes in rather quickly just under 6.7seconds and we touched a top speed of 190kmph, by the way the A7 Sportback can do 240Kmph if you want it to. The A7 Sportback has instant pickup while the 3.0liter TDI engine works in a refined and flawless manner. The air suspension helps the A7 Sportsback to glide over the bad monsoon roads with high degree of ease, you can even raise or lower the body when needed using the MMI control unit. The electromechanical steering is fun to drive with and takes the driver input instantly.

Here is some more information on the Intelligent Air Suspension of the A7 Sportsback. In the Auto mode the suspension is lowered by 20mm once the A7 is driven for 30seconds at speeds more than 120kmph increasing stability and cutting out on drag. There is no change in the body height in the comfort mode while in the dynamic mode the body is lowered by 10mm. The body height can be lowered or increased manually when in individual mode. We used the individual setting most of the time and it also helped us glide over the uneven speedbreakers that the A7 encountered. The A7 Sportback has an all disc brake setup aided with ESP EBD and ABS as standard. Braking on the A7 Sportback is highly responsive and secure at all speeds. The safety list also includes 6 airbags that includes two front, two side and two head airbags.

Verdict.

Audi has priced the A7 Sportback at Rs. 64lakhs Ex showroom Delhi and that makes it bang in middle of the A6 and the A8, with large proportions and dimensions and a powerful and highly refined TDI engine, the A7 Sportback surely is a fun to drive large car. The A7 Sportback has a never ending list of equipments and safety features. Its got the character of a Sportscar as well as drives and handles like one too, the A7 is endowed with the looks of a Coupe and it can store things in the XXL boot like a Station Wagon making it a perfect blend of character and a very viable option in this new segment. The Audi A7 Sportsback has the BMW Grand Tourismo for competition. The A7 Sportback is a perfect choice for someone who wants a very different yet sporty and practical Luxury car.

Porsche Announces Macan Crossover for 2013

Like when Mercedes Benz stepped foot the SUV market with their ML model, many scratched their heads when sports car maker Porsche entered the fray with the Cayenne. Well a decade later the Cayenne is one of Porsche’s better selling vehicles in the US anyway.

With that experience under their belt and the increasingly tight CAFE standards to come, Porsche has plans for a smaller crossover that will share its architecture with the Audi Q5. To be called the Porsche Macan, the company has released a sketch of what the vehicle will look like.

Porsche says the the name Macan is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger. They hope the moniker will translate characteristics of “suppleness, power, fascination and dynamic” to the new crossover that has undeniable Porsche styling DNA and appears to almost be a perfectly scaled down Cayenne.

“The Macan combines all sports car characteristics with the benefits of a SUV and is a genuine Porsche”, said Bernhard Maier, Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing of Porsche AG. “The name of a new Porsche has to fit with the brand, sound good in very many languages and dialects and evoke positive associations.”

Porsche says the Macan is a centerpiece of their “Strategy 2018” plan. Porsche intends the Macan to emulate the success of the Cayenne in sales when it starts production in 2013. There’s no word yet on what will power the new Macan, but we would suggest that they will be similar to what its platform mate Audi Q5 has.

Currently, the Audi Q5 is available with a variety of engines including TSI turbocharged gasoline, TDI diesels and even likely Hybrid power trains.

New Porsche CUV called Macan, not Cajun after all, Porsche Announces Macan Crossover for 2013,

The drawing above depicts the 2014 Porsche Macan, the compact crossover formerly known as Cajun. We’ve extensively covered this long-anticipated baby Porsche SUV, but here’s a recap: The Macan will share its architecture with the Audi Q5 and slot into the Porsche SUV lineup—yes, the company now has a lineup of SUVs—below the Cayenne. It likely will use engines pulled from Audi’s parts bin, but as you can see from the design sketch Porsche released today, won’t share its look with any four-ringer.

The styling is hardly shocking—it strongly resembles the Cayenne—and it looks very similar to a rendering we published some months ago. So why the name change? Apparently “Macan” sounds good in many languages—it means “tiger” in Indonesian—and, at least according to Porsche, “evoke[s] positive associations.” While Porsche’s small SUV was never officially named “Cajun”—as we pointed out when Porsche green-lit the model—it had a nice ring to it and it matched the larger Cayenne’s spicy-sounding moniker. (The new name makes us think of macaws. And pecans.) Regardless, Porsche’s high-riding tiger will begin rolling off an assembly line in Leipzig, Germany, in 2013 before going on sale as a 2014 model. We expect the Macan to debut at an auto show later this year. In the meantime, check out Porsche’s uplifting teaser video for the Macan below.

Stuttgart • Porsche has named its newest upcoming sport-ute not the Cajun, as was expected, but the Macan. The name Macan is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger and, says the automaker, combines suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics — “core characteristics” of the new SUV.

“The Macan combines all sports car characteristics with the benefits of a SUV and is a genuine Porsche,” says Bernhard Maier, executive vice-president sales and marketing of Porsche AG. “The name of a new Porsche has to fit with the brand, sound good in very many languages and dialects and evoke positive associations.”

As the fifth Porsche model line, the Macan is a central plank of Strategy 2018, by which the sports car manufacturer will expand its model portfolio. Porsche says it intends the Macan to emulate the success of the Cayenne. The SUV will start coming off the production lines in Leipzig in 2013. To that end, the site is being expanded into a fully-fledged production plant, including body assembly line and paint shop — with 500-million euro of investment, it is one of the biggest building projects in Porsche’s corporate history.

According to Porsche, word names have concrete connections with corresponding models and their characteristics: “The name Boxster describes the combination of boxer engine and roadster, Cayenne stands for sharpness, the Cayman is snappy and agile and a Panamera is more than a Gran Tourismo, capable also of winning the Carrera Panamericana long-distance race.”

Are you looking for a luxury car that comes with great speed, durability and exceptional running performance? If so, the 2012 Wheelsandmore Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Epochal is the right car for you.

Since 650 horsepower did not suit customers who are in to a fast and furious driving experience, intensive modifications have been done to the SLR.

What's the SLR McLaren 722?

"Maximum powered vehicle", that's the most apt description for the latest SLR McLaren 722. This rare edition is combined with all the up-to-date and finest upgrades which allows it to run like no other. It's all thanks to the whole Wheelsandmore team who's responsible for all the modifications which make the SLR even better than ever.

The sports car originally came with a 650 horsepower and a torque of 820 Nm which was did not make many clients happy. However, the McLaren 722 is now pumped up to a higher level with a newly customized V8 engine that produces 727 hp and a torque of 701 lb-ft. How's that possible?

Well, it all comes down to the newly designed exhaust system that has sports catalysts, as well as flaps that can be engaged by remote control; which are all easily adapted greatly by the V8 engine's pulley and recently mapped ecu software.

However, these modifications require a specialized suspension for the model. Due to that, the Wheelsandmore team decided to contact KW, their coil specialists in order to have a new suspension built which features a rebound adjustable contraption, and better compression which is highly compatible with the McLaren Mercedes-Benz SLR 722.

Interior

What's more? The SLR 727 comes with a better steering wheel and all the passengers can have a comfortable ride with Nappa leather seats. With great style, comfort and optimal running functionality, the McLaren Mercedes-Benz 722 can be your best choice for a unique supercar that can give you the exceptional luxury ride you have always wanted.

Is the 2008 Dodge Avenger the Master in Disguise?dodge avenger,mopar,mopar parts,dodge,2008 dodge avenger,auto parts,parts

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

That all depends upon how you define disguise. One look at its unique design and it is clear that the Dodge design team has mastered the art of style without sacrificing affordability and practicality. Therefore, if disguise means that the outside of this striking vehicle matches an inside and a price tag that should be far different from its family-friendly cabin and reasonable sticker price, then yes, the 2008 Dodge Avenger is the Master in Disguise. If not, then this prime example of Dodge sporty styling creativity combined with the flexibility and usefulness of a family car is not the Master in Disguise - it is the Master, period.

The exterior design stands out even when compared to European luxury sedans that surpass it in price by a factor of three or more. It is a quintessentially American design, meant for the highways and by-ways of the American heartland rather than a transplant from the autobahn. Indeed, it hearkens back to the time when American cars were known for rugged designs that stood out, both because of their combination of curves and diagonals and because of the attention to aerodynamics that allowed the design to contribute to the performance and efficiency of the overall vehicle.

When it comes to performance and efficiency, the Dodge Avenger for 2008 certainly does not disappoint. Its standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is perfect for city travel, as it delivers more than enough power for stop-and-go driving, along with a wallet-friendly 21 miles per gallon in the city. On the highway, the standard engine runs for 30 miles on one gallon of gas, making it a real winner in the fuel economy category. Highway driving enthusiasts, from commuters who travel the nation's high-speed highways for work, to those who take to the highways for weekend play, are best served by the optional 3.5-liter V6 power plant. This engine provides 235 horsepower for increased performance, yet it still delivers 16 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway.

Its suspension and steering column, along with its transmission, combine to give Avenger drivers performance that is far above average for a midsize sedan. The four-wheel drive option enhances performance and it is combined with an advanced six-speed automatic transmission and the 3.5-liter V6 engine option so that drivers can get the most out of all that four-wheel drive has to offer.

Many advanced comfort and entertainment features, such as high-quality sound systems, are standard even on the base model of the 2008 Dodge Avenger. Most importantly, the Avenger is a reliable choice as a family car thanks to its emphasis on safety. Safety features include all necessary airbags, anti-lock brakes, a tire pressure monitor and optional stability controls.

Inside, the Dodge Avenger for 2008 provides comfortable seating for four adults, and its rear seats can be folded down when additional storage space is necessary. It is a practical, comfortable, useful car, with a style all its own.

How Does the 2008 Dodge Caliber Handle Itself?dodge caliber, dodge, mopar, mopar parts, auto parts,2008 dodge caliber

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

The 2008 Dodge Caliber is a practical, useful small wagon that is intended for daily errands and family excursions. However, since it is a product of the Dodge design and engineering team, it adds a touch of flair that only Dodge can add to what would otherwise be a simple, but highly reliable, little workhorse of a vehicle.

The Dodge flair is seen in its exterior design, and this design takes advantage of aerodynamic principles that add a bit of pizzazz to the handling and performance of the Dodge Caliber for 2008. That exterior design fits with the present Dodge theme of stylish ruggedness, where original geometric patterns meet bold, strong and very America design elements such as a slightly exaggerated grille and very ample fenders. In the case of the Caliber, the design elevates a practical car that is intended mostly for fuel economy to the level of an eye-catching, yet practical small crossover vehicle that stands out among cars of any size and format.

The CVT, or continuously variable transmission, is a welcome addition to the power train of the top trim package of the 2008 Dodge Caliber, which is centered around a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. This version of the Caliber for 2008 is rated at 23 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway, which is only one mile per gallon less than the standard 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine provides for the more basic Caliber trim levels. Nevertheless, even the basic version provides adequate performance for what is essentially a city car, and some drivers prefer a manual transmission for local driving.

One of the prime considerations for a family vehicle is safety, and the Dodge Caliber 2008 is at the very top of its class in that respect. It's full complement of safety features, combined with its chassis design, earned it outstanding crash test ratings from Federal and private agencies alike. Safety does not mean sacrifice of comfort, however, as the interior of the 2008 Dodge Caliber is adequate for four adults or even five if need be, and even the most basic model includes a quality entertainment system. The more advanced trim packages add comfort features that make these fully equipped versions of the Caliber more comfortable for longer drives, and if those longer drives require fishing tackle, skis or even light construction equipment, there is plenty of storage room once the rear seats are folded down.

The 2008 Dodge Caliber handles itself just perfectly for its intended purpose - getting a family from one place to another in reasonable comfort. It is also an ideal commuter car, especially when fitted out with the comfort features of its more advanced trim packages. Nevertheless, the Dodge design stands out and shines on this Caliber just as it does on all of the latest Dodge offerings. A driver who chooses this car will get noticed on the road, even if the Dodge Caliber is made for practicality rather than pomp and luxury.

Can The 2008 Jeep Liberty Outperform the Best? 2008 jeep liberty, mopar parts, mopar, jeep, mopar auto parts, auto, parts

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

When off-road performance is taken into account, the 2008 Jeep Liberty clearly leads in performance for its class. In fact, when price and other criteria are figured into the equation, the Liberty for 2008 occupies a category all its own. It does this by combining its Jeep off-road heritage with improved town and country handling, with two different four-wheel drives available that add reliability and toughness for off-road and sport use while they add confidence, comfort and performance to any ride on any city street or high-speed freeway.

The design of the Jeep Liberty for 2008 is pure Jeep tough, with just a bit of refinement so that the vehicle does not look altogether out of place at an elegant party on a country estate or club. The Liberty is indeed one of the Jeep models that clearly carries the Jeep heritage of utility vehicles on its classic, paneled doors and back, but the panels are enhanced with a slightly sculpted look that gives it a more user-friendly and inviting look than its more utilitarian ancestors ever had. It is a country squire's car, that nevertheless is at home on roads that might have once been conquered by pickup trucks and other off-road vehicles.

As far as performance is concerned, the Liberty is designed to deliver. It features a redesigned steering column and suspension system that adds maneuverability and diminishes response time, so the 2008 Liberty is ready to roll in the city or on the highway just as it is on country roads or when pulling a camping trailer. Its 3.7-liter V6 standard engine is more than sufficient for top driving performance, and a choice of manual or automatic transmission is available with this engine. Four-wheel drive capability is available either in the usual part-time format or in the newly introduced Selec-Trac full-time mode; either option provides reliable four-wheel drive performance whether this SUV is actually being driven off-road, or whether the four-wheel drive option is being deployed to deal with wet or icy road conditions in town.

Attention has also been paid to interior seating and trim. Driver and passengers alike enjoy a more comfortable ride thanks to a longer wheelbase and redesigned seating areas. The instrument panel has been redesigned for convenience and a more professional appearance, and switches have been moved to allow for easier access. Cargo space, which is a serious consideration for most drivers of this type of vehicle, is rather ample, and when the rear seats are folded down the 2008 Jeep Liberty can haul practically anything necessary for an off-road or sporting adventure. It is also a star as far as Federally mandated front and side impact tests are concerned, meriting a five-star badge from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The Jeep Liberty 2008 is in a class by itself. Its off-road heritage makes it a top choice for rugged on-road adventures, from safely traveling icy roads in ski areas to negotiating Sunday evening traffic from the beach to the city.

2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

Chevrolet has launched the 427 Convertible, the latest edition to long line of Corvettes, as a farewell to the outgoing C6 model and before the introduction of the C7 in 2014.

The launch commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Chevrolet brand and after more than 40 years, a Corvette is being rolled out with the legendary 427 name.

The new Corvette 427 convertible is the quickest in the history of Corvette, thanks to its powerful engine and light-weight construction.

Interior & Exterior

The 2013 Corvette 427 collector edition will be available with the 60th anniversary package, which includes Arctic white exteriors with optional pearl blue racing stripes. The interior would be wrapped in Blue Diamond leather with suede accents. The car gets Corvette ZR1 style Michelin PS2 tires, 19-inch alloys in the front and 20-inch at the rear.

The 427 has been designed to have an improved power to weight ratio and several light-weight body components have been used in the construction, like Carbon fiber floor panels, carbon fiber raised hood, carbon fiber fenders and front splitter.

Performance

The Corvette 427 convertible has been fitted with a 427 cubic-inch engine (7 liters) which churns out 505 horsepower and 470 lb ft of torque. The engine has been derived from the Corvette Z06. It's the most potent engine to be installed on a Corvette. The engine has been matched to a 6-speed manual transmission and there is no option of automatic transmission.

This Corvette 427 is being designed for performance. With great emphasis given to the power to weight ratio, the car churns out staggering performance figures.

It goes from 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and runs a quarter mile in 11.8 seconds. The convertible has maximum speed of more than 190mph. However, with this kind of performance, the car is not very fuel efficient.

Chevrolet has not decided on the number of Corvette 427s they will build, and the production numbers would likely depend on the demand of the vehicle. The company has not yet released the price of the vehicle.
