Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 in Sydney

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

Lamborghini is set to crack the top off the Aventador supercar, and the V12-powered speed demon spyder has been captured on the Sydney streets.

It’s always great finally seeing a new car on the road, but with Lamborghini’s it’s a different story.
Two weeks ago I saw the new Ferrari FF for the first time on the Sydney streets, which was good, I took a few snapshots but yesterday was a different experience seeing the Aventador.

Walking past the Hilton Hotel in Sydney I caught a glimpse of the Aventador and next thing I knew it was 40 minutes and 100 photos later. Luckily the Hilton valet is quite a nice spot for photos (and after spending 40 minutes there the valet guys are good company as well) and it also helps being trigger-happy.
The Aventador definitely turned a lot of heads something the Ferrari FF didn’t do as much, but it’s a totally different level so I’m comparing apples and oranges here. The new Ferrari F12Berlinetta will probably be a different story and will create a bigger stir when it comes on the market.
Still to this day the Lamborghini Aventador scissor doors are something quite special. See them go up right before the V12 starts and you know this is a rare sighting. Then hearing the car drive off and seeing it in Sydney traffic causes goosebumps. This grey, rainy Saturday afternoon just got a whole lot better!

Saving Money on Car Insurance Tips, installment fees, forgiveness policy, car insurance costs, saving money on insurance

In the current tough economic climate many people are struggling with rising costs of living. People could take online accounting classes to find out financial tips, and they can also follow these tips.Cutting insurance premium costs can be a simple task by shopping around for the lowest possible quotes. However, even after you purchase an auto insurance policy that works for you, there still might be hidden costs. These are some of the most common hidden insurance costs to look out for:

Car Model: Insurance companies have various rating criteria based on the model of your car. Some of the factors are replacement cost, likelihood of theft, and safety features. If your vehicle has higher ratings in these categories it may increase your auto insurance premiums. Also vehicles that are considered high end are valued higher and will tend to have higher insurance costs. If you are shopping for a car it may be a good idea to talk to an insurance agent to find out which car models qualify for lower auto insurance premiums.

Installment Fees: It is always a good idea to pay for your insurance policy up front if you have the funds to do so. Policies tend to run for either six months or for twelve months so it can be pricey if deciding to pay in full. If you choose to pay for your insurance in monthly installments there may be a fee associated with this convenience. Make sure to check with your insurance company before deciding as it may save you money in the long run.

Forgiveness Policy: Certain insurance companies reward their customers if they have a good driving record. If you are a defensive driver with a clean record you may want to check whether your insurance company offers first accident forgiveness. This means that your car insurance company will forgive the first accident and your policy premium will stay the same. Accidents can greatly increase your premiums by as much as 50% so having accident forgiveness can help you save money on your premiums.

Good Grades for Teen Drivers: Adding your teen to your insurance policy can increase your premiums significantly. Most insurance companies offer discounts for teenagers who have good grades. A grade point average of 3.0 and above can usually lower the premium as much as 25%.

Extra Features: Check your auto insurance policy for extra features that you may not need but are paying for. A good example of this is roadside assistance. Most people do not need this especially if they have this feature through auto clubs, or other companies. Also, if you have a used car that is not worth a lot of money it is a good idea purchase to take off full coverage features on your insurance. In the instance that your car is totaled, you will only receive the actual cash value of what your car is worth at the time of the accident.

There are many useful tips and advice on car insurance online, so make sure to do your research before making a purchase.

2012 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class, Engine, New Features and Specifications

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz SL has been formed almost entirely with aluminum and, as a result, weighs nearly 125kg less than the SL predecessor.

The aluminum bodyshell and lower weight means the car is a lot more agile and easier to handle than previous Mercedes-Benz SL cars. The aluminum shell isn't the only outstanding new feature of the 2012 SL, either! The work on this car shows that the designers must have done great in their auto CAD classes.

Engine

The BlueDIRECT engines in the new SL are far more powerful and yet up to 29% more economical than other SL engines. The fact that the car is carrying a lot less weight also aids less fuel consumption and increases the dynamism of the car.

In comparison to other SL versions, the 2012 edition offers a lot more comfort to drivers, thanks to the lengthening the body and the slight increase in width of the car. While the car has slightly larger dimensions that what you'd normally expect, it means there's a lot more space for you to enjoy inside the car (both shoulder room and elbow room have increased).

New Features

Several new features have been incorporated into the new SL including the unique and highly efficient Magic Vision Control system and the Front bass system. The Magic Vision Control system allows your windscreen to be wiped clean without obscuring your vision since it doesn't splash water across the whole windscreen. Fully heated wipers are also available for the first time, so you can stop ice forming on your wiper blades during cold weather.

The other unique feature, the Front bass system, uses free space near the footwells to increase bass resonance. Even when you have the top down, you'll still get crisp audio.

Existing features including the retractably vario-roof (now available as painted, glass or a panoramic roof that uses Magic Sky control) and the operating mechanisms have been modified. The roof now takes under 20 seconds to open/close completely!

As usual, the new SL follows the long-standing Mercedes-Benz tradition and has provided us with another aesthetically honed and luxurious new car that has been finished with the fine materials, style and character that you'd expect from Mercedes-Benz.

Car Insurance Tips For The Modern Driver, car insurance tips, car insurance, insurance tips, state vehicle taxes, state vehicle

Once the average person of today comes into possession of an automobile, they begin to fully realize what owning one actually entails. Even if one has bought the vehicle outright and doesn't owe monthly payments on a loan they took out to pay for it, he or she still needs to pay state vehicle taxes, transfer the title, secure a valid state and county registrations (renewed yearly), pay for license plates, and find reasonable car insurance that meets minimum state standards... whew!

Tips about car insurance tips, car insurance, insurance tips, state vehicle taxes, state vehicle:

Yes, buying a car can be a rather tedious and expensive process. That doesn't mean that finding the last bit, car insurance, needs to be like waiting in line at the DMV. Luckily, car insurance companies have been making the process of buying automobile insurance much more attractive for people over the last decade.

So, to better find car insurance, there are specific steps you can choose to follow that will ease your troubled mind and maximize the outcome of your insurance shopping experience. I will outline those for you now.

In the old days of insurance, one had to either call or travel in person to an insurance office to get it. Now with the advent of the Internet, this is no longer necessary. In fact you can go from start to finish online followed by a quick phone call.

The Internet has also given people the power to shop around for quotes, something much harder to accomplish when one would have to travel from place to place for prices. You can go on a business' webpage, enter basic information, and get an approximate price in minutes. The Internet can also be used to find out which companies offer special discounts that may apply to you.

So if you have Internet access, shop around for the best quotes. Save the info of your top 3-5 favorites and give them a call. You will be able to talk to someone about a more accurate quote without making a hard commitment to anything, and they will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Another method of completing the application process is online. After you've gotten rate quotes, the sites usually offer you the chance to continue with your application. Simply fill it out and someone will call you to confirm your identity.

So as you can see the process of finding and purchasing adequate car insurance has never been easier. Due large in part to the Internet, a person can quite literally window shop for a plan that best suits them from the comfort of their own homes. This in the end makes car insurance a much more attractive and approachable procedure and saves time and energy for the buyer and the seller.

Car Insurance: A Guide to Coverage

Plz click Like button to thank the Author:

Car insurance protects you in the event of an accident or damage to your vehicle, but many people don't know how much coverage is necessary. Here's some information to help you select the right types and right amount of auto insurance to properly protect you when driving.

Sufficient insurance coverage is essential and is required by law in most states. You may opt for the minimum insurance coverage required by law, but that may not fully protect you if you're at fault in an accident. For your protection, it's better to carry more than the minimum insurance coverage.

Most car insurance companies offer a variety of coverage options to protect you and your passengers, your vehicle and other drivers, including:

Liability
Collision
Comprehensive
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist
Medical
Personal Injury Protection (PIP)
Umbrella (optional)

Liability insurance

Liability insurance pays for injuries and property damage caused by a crash if it's determined you were at fault, and is required in every state except New Hampshire. Liability insurance does not cover injuries to vehicle occupants, or damage to your vehicle. Your policy should provide coverage for no less than $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident and $50,000 for property damage, or no less than $300,000 if your policy has a single limit. You will be liable for claims exceeding your coverage, so consider buying additional coverage if you're able.

Collision insurance

Collision insurance pays for damage to your vehicle in an accident. If your car is totaled, you'll receive what the insurer considers to be the pre-crash market value of your car, minus your deductible.

Comprehensive insurance

Comprehensive covers theft of your vehicle and non-collision damage to your car, as well as animal collisions. You may be eligible for car insurance discounts if your vehicle has anti-theft or tracking devices.

Liability, collision and comprehensive insurance are what finance companies require when purchasing or leasing a vehicle. There are other types of insurance you may wish to include with your auto insurance coverage, including:

Uninsured motorist or underinsured motorist protection is required by many states, and covers injuries to the occupants of your car if the other driver has insufficient or no insurance. In the event of a qualifying accident, the insurer pays the difference between what the uninsured driver can pay and what the injured driver would be entitled to.

Medical protection provides coverage for you and your passengers, regardless of fault.

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) insurance provides additional protection including rental-car coverage and roadside assistance.

With Umbrella coverage, "umbrella" refers to how the policy shields the insured's assets more broadly than primary coverage, and provides extra protection beyond your car insurance limits, in case of something unexpected.
